Moc Monday: Of Rust and Gasoline

What we have for you today is a fantastic diorama of an old gas station by Markus Rollbühler.
There are so many great and intricate details here that I don't know where to begin.  Sadly, there are no other images of this spectacular build.  Although perhaps that's for the better, as we'd be even more overwhelmed by the level of detail.

Lego Creative Personalities (40291) June Promotional Image Revealed!

One of the upcoming Lego promotionals fro this June has been leaked later this week. The promotional looks like it will be in honor of Danish storyteller Hans Christian Anderson which is pretty cool. It will include a brick built book with, presumably, Hans Christian Anderson on a bench reading along with a kid nearby. The idea of this promotional is absolutely amazing. The promotional will go on from June 4 to June 24 and will be available with all orders of $75 or more or 65 euros or more.
The Set looks really nice and will definitely be a great display piece for almost anyone's collection. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming promotional in the comments section below!

Lego Star Wars UCS Cloud City (75222) Set Confirmed!

The long-awaited UCS Cloud City set has been seemingly confirmed by this image of a Lando Minifigure.  He is clearly wearing the outfit we see in The Empire Strikes Back. The set will be quite large, running in at around $500 dollars or somewhere in that vicinity. We also now have a confirmed set number which is 75222 which is also a really good indication that it is a set.

Update*
So we now have a possible leaked image of the upcoming Boba Fett that comes in Cloud City too. This one was leaked a while ago and most people speculated it to be in the Solo sets, but now we know what it goes to. This Boba Fett actually includes a dual molded arm which is so cool and also a new face print as well. This leak adds even more confirmation for the Cloud City set which is fantastic!
Our sources also say that a Slave I and Cloud Car will be included in the set.  It seems as though this will be a playset similar to the 75159 Death Star, and not a display piece. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Cloud City set and on the Lando minifigure above in the comments section below!

Lego Creator Expert Roller Coaster (10261) Official Set Images Revealed!

After months of speculation, weeks of tantalizing leaks, and mountains of anticipation, the Lego Creator Expert Roller Coaster has finally been officially unveiled.

With 4,124 pieces, the 10261 Creator Expert Roller Coaster is an immense set.  in fact, it is the 10th largest Lego set ever produced(by piece count).  Unsurprisingly, the price tag is of a similar size: $379.99.  In case you're wondering what that means for its dimensions, you won't be disappointed.  This wild ride measures over 20" (53cm) tall, 34" ( 88cm) tall, and 16" ( 41cm) deep.
The set includes 11 minifigures and a multitude of functions.  The coaster can be moved up the lift hill at the beginning using a hand crank before racing down the slope.  Sadly, no motor is included, although both Power Functions and BOOST motors are supposed to be compatible, and should be easy to add.  Most of the functions can be seen in the videos
The set will be available for VIP early access on May 16th, and will be sold at large starting June 1st. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Roller Coaster set in the comments section below!

Lego City Hospital (60204) Set Images Revealed!

The new Lego City Hospital was just revealed this morning and it looks pretty fantastic. The set is rather large and includes 13 minifiugres and a new new blue baby mold. This may effect the price a little, but the price should be close to $99.99. The set also features both a ambulance and helicopter as well. There is still no word on the piece count right now but it will most likely be anywhere from 800-1100.

The set will include a few new torso prints, head prints, and also a new hair mold as well. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Lego City Hospital Set in the comments section below!

Lego City People Pack: Outdoor Adventures (60202) Images Revealed!

An image was leaked today of the next upcoming Lego City people pack. This one will be focused on outdoor type activities and will feature numerous accessories for that theme. Like the last two, this one will retail for the same price which will be $39.99. It will include a ton of new pieces which I am personally very excited about. Some of them are a new eagle animal, a life jacket, a new bike mold, and a baby carrier that hooks around a minifigures neck. There are also numerous new torso and head prints which is also very nice.
The set also comes with two 1 x 4 tiles with the words "Lego City" and "Mount Clutchmore" printed on them. Let us know your thoughts on all the new elements and this set in the comments section below!

Moc Monday: Black Falcon's Fortress

For moc monday this week, we will be featuring another build from Mark of Falworth. This build is a recreation of the original Black Falcon's Fortress set first released in 1986. Mark did a superb job at his recreation and just bring the original set to a whole new level. I love his expert use of parts in order to get the prefect angle and curvature of the two towers. Both the stonework and color scheme and simply brilliant. Also his use of the green cattle horn elements for the foliage was prefect.

Mark also has posted this on Lego Ideas with hopes of it one day becoming an official Lego Ideas set and I am sure he would love your support. Be sure to head on over to Mark's Flickr page and let us know your thoughts as well on this epic Lego castle!

Lego Creator Expert Roller Coaster (10261) Set Image Revealed!

We now have an image of the box of the unexpected upcoming Roller Coaster set. It will contain 11 minifigures and will include 4124 pieces which is way more than I expected. With the piece count now available it is safe to say that this set will be quite expensive. Most likely the price will be $299.99 or more, but that is still good for 4124 pieces. There is still no indication of when the set will be released, but since it is a creator expert it will most likely only be available on Lego shop or at a Lego store.

The set introduces a lot of new pieces like the new cotton candy piece and also includes a lot of newly colored pieces like the track and coaster cars. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Roller Coaster set in the comments section below!

Lego Ninjago Movie The Dockyards (70657) Set Images Revealed!

We now have an official image of the upcoming extension set to Ninjago City. The Dockyards will be much smaller then the last one though which was expected, however the detailing is absolutely spot on. There is still no price yet for the set, but it is rumored to be $199.99. The set will include thirteen minifigures with a few of them being exclusive to this set. The sets piece count is also unavailable at the moment, but once that is released it should be easier to determine the price.
The color and build looks really nice and like the Ninjago City set, I believe this one will be just as popular. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Ninjago modular set in the comments section below!

Lego Unikitty Summer 2018 Set Images Revealed!

Images for each of the sets based on Unikitty's recent spinoff TV show were unearthed today, including the rumored blind bag series.  I don't call it a minifigure series as none of the figures will actually be minifigures, but the series will likely be sold under the theme anyway.  All prices are estimated as they haven't been published yet. Some of the titles are also unknown.

Unikitty Minifigures Series (~$3.99)

This series should be particularly interesting as it doesn't include any actual minifigures, making it harder to feel which figure you have.  It should be interesting to watch its popularity for the same reason.

Unikitty Cloud Car (~$9.99)
Prince Puppycorn Trike (~$14.99)
Party Time (~$19.99)
Unikingdom Creative Brick Box (~$35.99)
Dr. Fox's Laboratory? (title unconfirmed, ~$59.99)
The sets all look very nice and incorporate a lot of new pieces as well. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming line of Unikitty sets in the comments section below!

Lego Architecture Summer 2018 Set Images Revealed!

We now have some very clear images of the upcoming two Architecture sets. The two are the Statue of Liberty and the Great Wall of China. The Statue of Liberty will be the most expensive of the two being most likely around $150-$200. The Great Wall of China on the other hand will only be about $40-$50. One cool thing about the Great Wall of China set is that the attach in order to make the wall longer which is pretty cool.

The Great Wall of China (21041) ~$40-$50

 Statue of Liberty (21042) ~ $150-$200

Both sets are great and I must say that the Statue of Liberty is absolutely massive. Let us know your thoughts on the two upcoming Architecture sets in the comments section below!

Lego Creator Roller Coaster Set Image Revealed!

An unanticipated Lego set was leaked today, but we only have a small portion of the set image. It is most likely going to be a $200 to $300 roller coaster set. From the image, you can obviously tell that it will be huge! It will also include a new cotton candy piece element and the new coaster track in red. We do not know what theme it will be associated with, but thoughts right now are pointing to it being one of the large scale Creator sets.

The set is probably one of the best surprises in the Lego news world this year as I don't believe anyone knew of its coming. The only roller coaster we knew of was the small pirate one for Creator. Let us know your thoughts on this amazing new upcoming roller coaster set in the comments section below!
