Moc Monday: New Wave

For Moc Monday today, we will be featuring a recent build by Ralf Langer. His creation gives a beautiful technique of a wave, but also the tragedy that comes along with it. The landscape, tiny houses, and lighthouse brilliantly executed! Even the boats are packed with details!
Be sure to head on over to Ralf Langer's flickr page and give his creation a like and let us know your thoughts on the build in the comments section below!

The Lego Movie 2 Minifigure Pack Images Leaked!

Occasionally Lego will release a minifigure pack of about 3-4 minifigures for a theme. We already know of one for Ninjago and now we know that there will be another one for the Lego Movie 2! This one will include Emmet, an Apocalypseburg citizen, and at last 2 sewer babies! The pack will retail for either $12.99 or $14.99 and the release date for it is unknown but should be soon.

Personally, I plan on getting a good amount of these simply for the sewer babies. I am also delighted that Lego put them in such an affordable set. Be sure to let us know your thoughts on the pack in the comments section below!

Moc Monday: Bigger is Better, Even in Space

The classic Lego space themes of the 70s and 80s have always had a huge following.  To this day, people continue to build MOCs based on lines released 40 years ago.  This spaceship by Jacob Sadovich stands out.  Not just because it's big and scary, and covered in weapons, but because it's scaled to a Technic figure.

I like it.  Maybe more of us should try building things in this scale.

You can see more of this ship and other cool builds on his Flickr.
