Lego Brickheadz Ariel (41623) Image Leaked!

Another Brickhead was leaked this morning and this time of Ariel. By looking at the set number, we can assume that Ariel will come with Ursula in a dual pack fro $19.99 which is nice. This may also mean that it will be limited to certain stores, but at the moment nothing is known about its availability. We are still waiting the official release and until then no information on piece count is available.
Again, with what I said about Ursula, it will be very interesting to see if Lego is able to make this Brickhead attach to a traditional stand. Let us know your thoughts on the Ariel Brickhead in the comments section below!

Lego Brickheadz Ursula (41623) Image Leaked!

Yet another Disney Brickhead was leaked this past weekend, this time of the character Ursula. Like most brickheadz, this one will retail for $9.99 and should be available in most stores, but it is still too soon to be 100% sure. The piece count and other details have still not been revealed, but they should be soon when Lego reveals the June and July waves of Brickheadz.
Lego did a pretty good job with this one and I am very intrigued to see if it will fit on the stand due to the tentacle legs. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Ursula Brickhead in the comments section below!

Moc Monday: The Legend of Anendra

Today for Moc Monday, we are featuring a stunning build by Malin Kylinger.  In what she named, the Legend of Anendra, we see a beautiful array of techniques and color that brings this storybook to life. I really love how she made the tale come out of the book as if the story really is coming out at you. As I have said, her use of elements is amazing, especially on the creature!

Make sure to head on over to her flickr page to see more of her projects and also give this a like! You can also head on over to Lego Ideas as this project is in contention to be a set one day! Let us know your thoughts on this beautiful moc in the comments section below!

Lego Brickheadz Minnie Mouse (41625) Image Leaked!

An image of the upcoming Minnie Mouse Brickhead was leaked not too long ago. This image gives us a good idea of the accompanying Brickhead to this one, Mickey Mouse. The one below will retail for $9.99 and still has an undetermined piece count which will be released upon its official reveal soon.
Lego actually did a pretty good job and I really like the use of the dishes for the ears. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Minnie Mouse Brickhead in the comments section below!

Lego Moc: Battle on Scarif

Well, about 1 month ago I finished my remake of Scarif from Rogue One. The moc is 5 by 1 feet and includes mostly foliage and beach areas. I also included the U-Wing dropping reinforcements in the right side of the moc. This moc particularly took longer than my expected 3 months simply because of palm trees. I didn't realize that I needed that many palm fronds for the palm trees in the beginning.

In the pictures above and below, we have a Tie Striker shooting on the rebels, hence the two explosions.
Here I included Bodhi connecting the cable and heading back to Cargo Shuttle SW-0608.

As a little easter egg, I added Robin kicking off a Gremlin to portray a particular scene from the Lego Batman Movie.
Since Robin is protecting the U-Wing, I thought that we needed an extremely amazing pilot flying so that is why Batman is in the cockpit.

I hope you all enjoy my latest moc and please feel free to leave me feedback in the comments section on what you liked and on what you think could be better!

Lego Star Wars Porg (75230) Image Leaked!

Along with the Harry Potter set leak, we now have an image of the rumored UCS Porg set as well. This set will just literally be a brick built Porg, similar to the BB-8 we got in preparation for the Last Jedi. The sets rumored price is $69.99 and there is still no details yet on piece count.
Porgs were a big thing in the Last Jedi and they exploded in poularity. I actually think it was a good idea for Lego to make a build-able Porg and I think it will be accepted very well by the Lego community. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Porg set in the comments section below!

Today, and image of the upcoming Stormtrooper Brickhead was revealed! The Brickhead will retail like most for $9.99 and should be available most every. The piece count for the set is unknown, but details should arise by the coming month. Like Darth Vader, Lego did a superb job of getting exquisite details on this one.

For Moc Monday today, we feature St. Basil's Cathedral. From designer Markus Rollbuhler, we get an amazingly elegant designer with striking resemblance to the original. Markus features a superbly detailed exterior of the Cathedral, practically making it come to life as if you were there.

The level of detail on this moc is astounding! Let us know your thoughts on the build and also head over to Markus's flickr account and check out some of his mocs as well!

Lego Harry Potter 2018 Minifigure Series Confirmed!

The figure looks absolutely amazing and the snake is definitely one of a kind. With this image, though, we should be getting the rest of the images soon. As I have stated before, there will be 22 minifigures in the series and possibly one exclusive one per every four boxes.
I am absolutely ready for this series after seeing this one. I really want to see all the exciting new pieces like the snake shown above. Let us know your thoughts on the figure above in the comments section below!

The final Star Wars set is not really a part of the summer wave.  It's the annual Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar (75213).  This year it contains 307 pieces and 7 minifigures.  The minibuilds look nice as well.

Lego Star Wars 2018 Summer Set Images Revealed

We finally have images for the summer 2018 wave of Star Wars sets. We will be getting a nice mix of sets from the Original Trilogy, The Clone Wars, and the Sequel Trilogy, and all of them look interesting.

The smallest of the four sets revealed is Anakin's Jedi Starfighter (75214).  The set will be sold for $19.99 and includes Anakin and R2-D2 figures.  The set contains 247 pieces.  It looks like another solid rendition of a ship that has been produced many times before.

Moving from The Clone Wars to the Sequel Trilogy, next is 75216 Snoke's Throne Room.  This set includes Two Praetorian Guards, Kylo Ren, Rey, and Snoke himself.  It will retail for $69.99 and includes 492 pieces.

We also have two sets from the Original Trilogy.  The first is the iconic X-wing.  This set will retail for $79.99 and includes Luke Skywalker, Biggs Darklighter, R2-D2, and another astromech droid.  The X-wing contains 732 pieces.

By far the largest set revealed today is the Sandcrawler (75220) which is made up of 1,239 pieces.  It includes Luke Skywalker, two Jawas, an Astromech Droid, a Medical Droid, and One other droid and will cost $139.99.  I'm very interested to see how this Sandcrawler will compare to the UCS Sandcrawler.

These sets will be released on August 1st.  These are probably not all of the summer 2018 sets, and we should be getting images of the rest of them very soon.  Let us know what you think of this wave of sets in the comments below!

Edit:  Be sure to check out the rest of the sets in the wave.

Lego Powerpuff Girls Set Images Revealed

The Lego Powerpuff Girls theme's first official images were released today.  Two sets were revealed and they will be released in August.

The first set, Bubbles' Playground Showdown, (41287) includes 144 pieces and will be sold for $19.99.  It includes two minifigures, and, as the title might lead you to believe, a playground.  A mech is included as well, although I don't think it is one of the playground rides.

The second set, Mojo Jojo Strikes, (41288) includes three minifigures, a car, and a few buildings which supposedly represent a larger city.  This set will sell for $29.99 and includes 228 pieces.
As expected, you will have to buy both sets to get all of the characters.  The sets include some interesting parts, but they look like collections of small models rather than cohesive sets.  However, maybe that is the best way to represent the source material.  Let us know what you think of these sets in the comments below!
