Lego Star Wars Ahch-To Island Training (75200) Review

After long anticipation for this set, it has finally arrived as of last month. The set retails for $29.99, but some retailers occasionally offer it $23.99. There are three minifigures featured in the set which are Rey, Luke, and a Porg. It contains 241 pieces which can be built into Luke's hut on the planet Ahch-To.
The Build:
The hut is fairly well designed and includes many new Lego elements. The set is pretty inaccurate to the actual hut in The Last Jedi, but offers a few play features. These include a folding bed and catapult effect on the side of the hut to signify a force push. The top of the hut does remove, creating easy access to the inside which is nice.

The Minifigures:
First off is Rey. Her outfit is the one from the end of episode 7 and that of her during her training on Ahch-To. Her head and hair are the standard that were used on her previous minifigure from the Force Awakens. Her torso is brand new and has some very nice printing on both the front and back. Her legs are also nicely printed, but only on the front. Rey's accessories include her staff and Luke's lightsaber. To me, the minifigure is very well thought out and very detailed.

Next we have Luke. This is the only Luke minifigure made for the Last Jedi and is also exclusive to this set. He includes all new elements which again is very nice. His hair is a brand new mold and is exquisitely done and is colored in dark tan. Sadly there are no gray highlights. His head is features 2 sides, one an angry face and the other a calm face. His beard does have some dark tan and gray highlights and looks practically perfect. His torso is new and has printing on both sides. Both sides are done with great printing and look fantastic. The legs are printed, again very nicely. His cape, surprisingly, is also new and extends past his arms instead of behind his arms which is interesting. His accessories include his staff.

Finally we have what perhaps was most desired. The porg! At last there is any easy, inexpensive way to get porgs in bulk. The porg is different from those of the UCS Millennium Falcon in that it is gray instead of black. The head is practically new and has some nice printing on it while the rest of the porg is brick built.

Overall:
The set is definitely worth getting, mostly because of the porg, but for other reasons such as an exclusive Rey and Luke. While the set lacks a rather nice build, it does come with some great pieces to enhance building techniques.

Build: 6/10
Minifigures: 10/10
Play-ability: 7/10
Value: 9/10

Overall: 8/10
