Lego Harry Potter Diagon Alley (40289) Revealed

Continuing in the vein of the microscale Hogwarts set released earlier this month, Lego has made a microscale version of Diagon Alley.  Gringotts, Ollivander's, Flourish and Blott's, Quality Quidditch Supplies, and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes are all represented in microscale. Personally, I am reminded of the Mini Modulars set from 2012.  The set also includes an Ollivander minifigure.  The price and piece count are unknown so far.

Let us know what you think of this set in the comments!

  1. I bet this would mean they aren't going to release a full scale Diagon Alley in the near future. Since this has the push tab to open, it is likely going to be relatively cheap. I haven't seen that on pricier sets. The piece count doesn't look to be super high either. I'm fine with it. That's a nice new Ollivander figure, as well.

    1. The set before this, 40288 was the promotional BB-8, which means this set will probably be free with certain purchases. I wouldn't count out a large Diagon Alley just yet.
