Lego Star Wars UCS Y-Wing Starfighter (75181) Image Revealed!

The next UCS Star Wars set has been found in a store in Poland.  The UCS Y-wing is rumored to be released on May 4th for Star Wars Day.
This set came as a surprise to me, as I have not even heard rumors of a new UCS Y-wing.  In any case, the set looks impressive.  Price and price counts for the set are unavailable at the moment, but I'd estimate a retail price of around $180-$200. Tell us what you think of the UCS Y-wing in the comments!

Lego Minifigure Factory (5005358) Set Images Revealed!

For April this year, we well be getting a one of a kind set with orders of 75 dollars or more. This set will be the Minifigure factory and it will be available from April 1-15. The set will feature a small non Lego vignette as well as a minifigure assembly line and a Lego employee. The thing that excites me is the microfigures which include prints that depict P.I.X.E.L. from Ninjago, the Nurse from Series 1, an old pirate, the classic police officer, and the classic blue space minifigure.

I am very excited for this set simply because of the microfigures shown above. Let us know your thoughts on this exciting promotional in the comments section below!

Lego Seasonal Banana Guy Set Image Revealed!

After numerous recent seasonal minifigures that Lego has given us, we now have an image of the next one which will be most likely for this summer. It will feature a banana costume guy that includes an orange boom box. The one thing that is nice is that the banana does not have an unnecessary printing like the previous one in series 16. So far we only know that it will be available in Billund, but it may become a promotional on the Lego shop soon.
*update: Here is a better image of the minifigure.  ~via Promobricks
The set looks great and I like the accessory and new torso and legs with the sandals as well. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming banana guy in the comments section below!

The set will feature tactical Batman and Superman from the recent Justice League movie. It will retail for $19.99 and will most likely be common to most Lego sellers. Moc Monday: Piratical Prevention Platoon

For Moc Monday today, we will be featuring one of Mark of Falworth's newest mocs. He used excellent building techniques and the expert use of that 6 x 6 x 2 round corner brick. The mech is great, featuring excellent curvature and part usage. He even used our favorite space guy Benny to rid the world of space pirates!

Lego Harry Potter D2C Hogwarts Castle (71043) Set Possibly Confirmed!

After a long strand of rumors for an upcoming D2C Hogwarts castle, we may have somewhat of an official confirmation that it is real. Recently, it was also confirmed of 2 large $500 plus sets that will be coming out within the next year and the Hogwarts castle is most likely one of them. Yesterday, we got the set number and also its estimated price which will be $569.99 which will be the second most expensive Lego set ever. There is no additional details yet of it or no image yet. There is still no direct confirmation of the set,but now that there is a set number and price, I feel that we may actually be getting a large scale Hogwarts Castle in the near future.
Above is an list of the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter sets along with the D2C which has been being talked of a lot on Eurobricks. This is still technically just a rumor, but we now have some good evidence of its confirmation. Let us know your thoughts on the possible D2C Hogwarts Castle in the comments section below!

Lego Ninjago Katana V11 (70638) Review

Today, I will be reviewing the Katana V11 from season 8 of Ninjago. The set's retail price is $19.99 and includes 257 pieces and 2 minifigures: Kai and Luke Cunningham. The build-able items in the set are Kai's speed boat and a Sons of Garmadon motorcycle.
The Build:
The main build of the set is Kai's Katana V11. The set is quite big for its retail and offers splendid use of pieces and colors. The set features a storing compartment in the front of the boat and also contains a very large cockpit that fits the minifigure at ease. The sides also open up which I have not yet figured out what for, but it does look quite cool in that position. Behind that there are two missile compartments that can be extended and shot. The colors of the set are simply marvelous. The idea of bright orange, red, and gold is such a great color combination that it's hard to take your eyes off it once it is built.

There is also a small build for the sons of Garmadon which is a motorcycle. It is basically an add on and Lego did a pretty good job. It is simple yet can be played with and enjoyed for hours. It contains the basic mold for motorcycles and does sport some graffiti stickers on the sides.
The Minifigures:
The first minifigure is Kai. After first seeing this set, I knew I had to get it simply because of this figure. Like the V11, Kai sports some accented bright orange on his torso which makes him look absolutely amazing. His torso and legs a also printed so perfectly and precisely that the figure to me is worth getting. His head is that same one from the Lego Ninjago Movie sets which inlcudes both happy and enraged facial expressions. He has the new two piece mask which is colored in red this time instead of the tradition black. His accessories include two katanas which are held in his scabbard/shoulder armor piece.

The other minifigure that is included is Luke Cunningham. He includes a new face print, but it is only one sided which is sad. The torso that is included is printed on both sides and I absolutely love how detailed it is, especially on the back where the S.O.G. logo is. He also includes a nice new armor piece which is really nice. His legs are unexpectedly printed as well and are done very nicely. His head piece is a helmet which includes tactical goggles.

Overall:
My final thoughts on this set is that you should definitely acquire it. The price per piece ratio is good and the minifigures and build are absolutely incredible for the price.

Build: 10/10
Minifigures: 9/10
Play-ability: 10/10
Value: 9/10

Overall: 9.5/10

Lego Ideas Tron: Legacy Light Cycle (21314) Official Set Images Revealed!

This morning, official images and details surfaced for the upcoming Tron Light Cycle set. It will consist of three minifigures, 230 pieces, two light cycles, and will retail for $34.99. The release date for it is set for March 31st.

In these two images, you can compare the finished product with the original model submitted through Lego Ideas. The finished model seems to contain less details, but looks sleeker for it. The introduction of several small parts helped with this sleek look.

The minifigures in this set are also worth getting excited about. All three of them have torsos printed on the front and back and two of them have printed arms.
The base included for the bikes also includes several useful parts like trans-light blue tiles and plates in what appears to be dark azure.
This looks like a solid addition to the Lego Ideas line. Let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Tron set in the comments section below!

Han Solo (41608) - $9.99

Lego Ninjago Confrontation in the Throne Room (70651) Set Image Revealed!

I have posted the preliminary image of this set, but now we have a pretty clear, official image of it. The one thing that most intrigued me to post it was the selection of minifigures in the set. After looking at it, it includes Harumi(evil outfit), Pixel in the Samurai outfit, Skylor, Nya, and Lloyd. The figures are absolutely marvelous and the set is only going to be $25-30 which is equally fantastic. The build comes with some nice pieces, but does not offer a nice play-ability factor.
The set, honestly, will probably be the best of the line simply because of the minifigure selection. Let us know your thoughts on this upcoming set in the comments section below!

Lego Star Wars UCS Porg Set Rumored!

Word has been spread of an upcoming smaller UCS type set similar to the latest BB-8, but of a Porg. Like the ones that have popped up in England, but significantly smaller around the size of a normal tie fighter. If this rumor is true, it would be amazing to get a brick built Porg to add to collection. The price of the set would be similar to the BB-8, ranging around $100.
Remember, this is just a rumor right now and the only significant evidence available is from Eurobricks. It would fantastic to get this and I can see why Lego would want o promote such a highly popularized critter with a lego set of him. Let us know your thoughts on this UCS Porg rumor in the comments section below!

Moc Monday: Medieval Windmill

If I were a peasant during the Medieval time, I will definitely want to live at this place. For Moc Monday today, we will be featuring the Medieval Windmill by Sandro Domiano. With incredibly great part usage and design, this windmill is fantastic! My favorite part of the moc is the windows which were expertly though out and executed.
